Fasteroids began as an attempt to learn the basics of Game Maker Studio 1.4 using Shaun Spalding’s Your First GameMaker Game. Over the period of a few months it grew to a more robust game with several features not found in Shaun’s original videos.

Recently I’ve imported Fasteroids into GameMaker Studio 2.0 and begun working on revamping the menus, adding more enemies, adding support for more monitor aspect ratios, and fixing issues with the scoring.
